AAV-7A1 'Amtrac'

The AAV-7A1 'AMTRAC' (Assault Amphibious Vehicle) is an armoured vehicle that is capable of travelling on land and in water. It has two water jets in the rear for water travel and tank tracks for land travel. It is the current amphibious troop transport for the United States Marine Corps. The nickname 'Amtrac' or 'Amtrack' comes from its original designation, 'amphibious tractor'.
