An excellent windbreak and hypnotizing to the eye, the pyramidal Golden Ghost Red Pine seems to shimmer in the sun. Each of its long, slender needles holds an enchanting green color with a band or two of yellow; its shoots feature red buds and orange-red stems. The result is a phantasm of color: greens, yellows and oranges glimmer with the movement of this densiflora tree. Use this tall, wide-spread Japanese pine for privacy, or center it as a fixture in your garden. This tree will reach a height of 18-20 feet.

- planting instructionsDig hole twice the width of root ball but no deeper. Be certain of good drainage. Plant with root flare slightly above ground. Back fill hole with amended soil.
