Hello!! Sorry this took so long to answer ^^;;; (I wanted to finish up a few sketches for your ask) I’m glad you guys like my Inspector Gadget stuff <x3
Oh gosh… Gadget and his sister were really close. Like the sweetest brother and sister duo ever. Gadget was the older sibling, so he always protected and looked after his sis when they were growing up.
They both loved to help people in some way, so when they were older Gadget went into the police force while his sister wanted to become a reporter. In my head, I kinda saw her as the reason Gadget got such a big name in the first place. vvv (Gadget talking to Penny about her mom) vvv
(Also if your from Canada and see something dumb in the headlines I drew, like if it’s a real Canadian media name that’s bad up there, I’m sorry!! ^^;; Please tell me and I’ll edit it haha xDD) But that’s kind of how they are with each other, always helping when the other is in need. They were the only family they had.
(^^Gadget is awkward in live interviews haha but he did it for his sis^^) Her character is very much like her older brother too, sweet but intense when she needs to be. She was all about finding the truth and reporting it to the people of Metro City.
^^She also met her hubby when she joined a news team, he was her camera man!
But yeah, I hope I explained her okay ^^;;; I still need a good name for her lol, not just “Gadget’s sister” hehe.
Oh my gosh, thank you so much! ;v; That really means alot. I’m glad you like my version of these guys <xD (also sorry for late reply, I’ve been gone for a bit ^^;;;;)
Oh man, berserk Gadget is incredibly dangerous. This mode is more so a corruption/virus in his system. He looses control of himself and all of his more dangerous gadgets (mallets, buzz saws, lasers, flame throwers, etc.) Metro City is pretty much at his mercy when he’s in this mode. Just imagine the beginning of the terminator movie lol xDD Or actually, the film version of Inspector Gadget did a pretty good job of showing what the chaos would be like (that was robogadget though).
In my version of the story, Dr. Von Slickstein, before he “created” Gadget used to work for Dr. Claw but left due to…. reasons. But Claw still had alot of the Dr’s papers and robotics work filed away. With this info, he asked his own scientist to create a chip that would corrupt Gadget’s software (the machine part of his brain). Dr. Claw then tasks Lana to plant a M.A.D. computer chip on Gadget (since his weakness is the ladies, she’s the only one who can get close enough to him without suspicion). Once planted Claw was able to turn this mode on (during a big city event of course), making Gadget a walking weapon of destruction. Kinda like RoboGadget, only it’s alittle more personal since he’s the one causing the chaos (plus Claw wanted Gadget to loose face and the trust of the people of Metro City, while also making Slickstein look like a hack, and Metro City Police look like fools for taking a risk using a cyborg cop)
The only way he was stopped from destroying the entire city and everyone in it was because of Penny and her computer book.
80’s was all about the hacking, so she pretty much hacked into his brain to override the M.A.D. chip. He’s back to normal once she does that, but uuuh, there’s alot of explaining to do on the Chief’s part to the City. Gadget also still has left over effects from the chip, like the red eyes when he gets upset.

Oh my gosh, thank you so much!!! ;w; I’m glad you like my Gadget stuff!! x3 Oooh maaan, so I actually have a “twist” that’s kind of like that! 8D
SPOILERS pffft xDDD
In my version, at the very, very end when Gadget and Claw confront each other/final battle. Claw reveals why he has a robotic arm and also his connection with Dr. Von Slickstein:
AND THEN THEY HAVE A CYBORG BATTLE ON A SKYSCRAPER ROOF CAUSE THE 80′S!!!! xDD
So Claw was kind of like an incomplete cyborg project of the doctor xD Von Slickstein, when working for Claw had a change of heart, and couldn’t allow his science to go to someone so sinister (even if he funded the whole project). He knew Claw would successfully take over the world if he was an immortal cyborg. So he left and went into hiding before going onto wanting to rebuild Gadget after he died (the only person able to give Claw and M.A.D. a run for there money x3)

Waaaa thank you so muuuch! ^0^ (Oh my gosh, I’m so, so sorry I’m answering this embarrassingly late. I was going through my ask box and found some gadget asks I never answered 00;;;;; I’m so sorry aaaa!! I don’t know how long these have been here aaaaaaaaa)
It’s really sad to say but no, Lana didn’t feel bad at all for planting the chip :( In fact, she was disappointed the chip was so easily disabled and the plan failed! xD
So Lana, in my head, is kind of like Dr. Claw’s right hand man, she’s the most dangerous of all his agents, and he only calls her as a last resort (so if this were a show or movie, she’d be like the final villain before Claw xD).
She’s incredibly smart and uses her charm and acting (and killing) skills to get what she wants from people ^^;;; And she’s gotten alot of things for Claw xD Government secrets, money, technology, recruiting heads of business and politics, etc. So planting the chip on Gadget was kind of easy game for her haha xD
Gadget never realized the way they met was all Claw’s planning too (kind of like the original episode she was in). Lana was visiting Canada for a “movie shoot” and needed a bodyguard during her stay.
What better guard then a world famous Police Inspector? xD There “love” is like a corny Noir film also xDD Lana’s the Femme Fatale, while Gadget’s the clueless love struck detective being completely deceived. They really only hold hands and say sweet nothings to each other (though it’s all an act on Lana’s side). The only time they kissed, Gadget’s systems overheated and had an emergency shut down (while he was rebooting Lana was able to plant the chip in his head, so he didn’t even realize she was the one who planted it) He’s hopeless haha xDD
As for coping after the Berzerker accident, Gadget unfortunately didn’t know that Lana did it (cause he was rebooting lol) 0o0 He just assumed his system had a glitch or something. Even when Penny and Dr. Von Slickstein told him a M.A.D. chip was installed on him, he kind of brushed it off, like not wanting to believe Lana had anything to do with it. Not cause he’s stubborn, just cause he’s too pure that one lol xDD
He sees the good in everyone, while Lana sees no good in people at all. But since the first plan didn’t work for M.A.D., Lana’s next task was to just off Gadget any way possible (this is when she took on her disguise as La Noir).
(Really sorry again for the late response 00;;;;;)
This nasty Transylvanian atmosphere is good for my health.
