Yellow-billed Chough (Pyrrhocorax graculus)
I took this photo of a Yellow-billed Chough (Pyrrhocorax graculus), perhaps better known as an Alpine Chough, during our annual visit to South Tyrol in northern Italy. For a while we were surrounded by a large flock of these birds who were happily feeding in an alpine meadow.
