Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke plays Sarah Connor in the franchise’s latest film (which means an American accent!), and she is humanity’s last hope. The new trailer for Terminator Genisys reveals that Sarah is pitted against the most unlikely of opponents – her son, John (Jason Clarke). Skynet’s latest plan to take over the world involves turning the hero into the villain and sending him back in time to kill his own mother. Thankfully, Sarah has some help in the form of an aging terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and John’s fellow soldier Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney). Together, they must find a way to reverse John’s altered state and save the human race. Sarah also has the unenviable task of trying to teach Ah-nold to “blend in.” This is not going to be easy. Terminator Genisys hits theaters on July 1, 2015.
