Habitat: This bird if not often seen, but will favor forests and forests borders in the highland of western Panama. Distribution: This species has been reported from the highlands of southern Mexico south to Peru Natural History Notes: The Barred Parakeet can be found un large groups and will like to perch on high branches in the dense foliage.
