On a glorious morning in early spring, a bustling valley in northern Guangdong sees Cabot's tragopans foraging for food. The Cabot's tragopan is endemic to China. The spring is their season to locate mates. Male or female, being physically fit and ready keeps them in the game of love where the strongest win. 

About 'Journeys in Nature': Northern Guangdong Woodland Series

Northern part of Guangdong Province is located in the Nanling Mountains, an important mountain range and watershed in the south of central China. With dense forests, it has some of the richest biodiversity in southern China. Beneath the thick forest lies a paradise for creatures you may not often see. There are many mysterious stories behind these species waiting to be uncovered.
