A beautiful family-run lakeside property known for their incredible lobster, seafood, prime rib eat-all-you-can buffet with amazing desserts. Open from mid-April to mid-December and closed for winter.

This was a nice less than 3 hr. drive from New York City, we chose Mystic CT as our spot for the weekend and it was a 40 min. drive to Charlestown, RI. Immaculate property, huge parking spot, the warmest staff! We've fasted at least 24 hours before we went here thinking I could eat more lobsters but I only had 4! Strategically enjoyed just all the seafood and prime rib to stay low carb but couldn't resist having a coffee shake for dessert! For $135 per adult with maximum dining time of 2 hrs., I'd say it was absolutely worth it, especially when you're celebrating special events! We hope to come back and try the rest next time! :)

If you are going for the food be ready for over cooked seafood and moderate tasting meat. I guess I make sense cooking that many lobsters and crabs. Overall not worth it

I've been here for many years ! I skip carbs only eat seafood steak ! Sangria ! Price if you eat like me is worth every penny ! Micheal sat us was so kind to my ex hubby and I paying for our sangria !

Very good seafood buffet. Staff was great, selection was great (kinda wish they still had King Crab on the buffet) but sadly they didn't. I asked for a medium rare filet and it was close to well done. I'm usually not this knit picky, but for $135 per person I'm going to.
The grounds were beautiful with hammocks and cornhole and a beach volleyball court and outside bar.
I'm glad we went but doubtful we'd go back. We also live 8 hrs away.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!

At $135 per person, dining at The Nordic is no drop in the bucket, but you will get your money's worth. My family drove up all the way from DC, just to visit The Nordic, and it was so worth it!

I'd fill up on the lobsters, crab legs, steaks, and freshly shucked oysters. The lobsters were so fresh (not frozen) and were pretty large! I ate 5 lobsters and still had some room for dessert.

Make sure you go in with a game plan though, because you only have 2 hours to dine!

The outdoor lakeside grounds are beautiful as well. It's a great place to grab a drink and listen to live music, as you wait for your table.

Wow JUST WOW! Amazing service by ALL and our server Mandy consistently always went above and beyond. She gave us a tour and provided top notch hospitality. Please make sure she is aware of this review by a Yelp elite. The food---- whattttttt!?! Totally worth the money. I had to pace myself so I could eat as much as possible. We didn't even make it to the carving station. I had 2 lobsters, crab legs, bacon wrapped scallops, corn bread, shrimp scampi, green beans and desserts galore. The atmosphere was GORGEOUS! they have live animals outside. I named the mini horse Selma and the goat George haha this place is a must from anywhere in the US! PUT THIS ON YOUR BUCKET LIST- NOW!!!

What's not to love about this place? We had a reservation and as soon as we arrived we were escorted to our table. And if you do happen to have to wait, they have gorgeous grounds outside you can explore with endless relaxing seating near the lake. As soon as you sit you can place you drink order and head to the buffet. They have four stations. Seafood, main buffet, dessert, and meat. I was able to enjoy a bit from each and every bit was mouthwatering good! All you can eat lobster, crab legs, prime rib, filet... and more. Not a once in a life time buffet, a more like annual or any chance you can!

Do you like seafood? Well this is the place you want to go if you want an all you can eat seafood. I drove 4 hours from New Jersey to eat at this place for my birthday. I was not disappointed at the quality of the seafood and items that was offered. The price of buffet was 125 per person at the time of this review. It was a nice drive through Rhode Island to get here. It's located at a ranch looking type campus with a nice outside area for guest to wait for their table. There were some farm animals on the ranch as well. They are only open from April till first week of December.

The Nordic had a good selection of items to choose from. The main items was the seafood including lobster, snow crab, and calms. They also have a grill station with good cuts of meat including filet migon. They ask you the temperature of meat you would like. The lobster bisque soup was so flavorful as well. However, I loaded up on the lobster and snow crabs because its the main event here. Overall, I would take another 4 hour drive to eat here again. Definitely will take another road trip to eat here again.

Ambiance - as we took pictures with the mannequins and the relaxing area outside.
Service - very nice as we ensured to tip our server. Never had to wonder where our server was. He was continually coming around.
Food - I always wanted to take my wife to a lobster dinner. Traveled from Tampa to the NE just to accomplish that goal. Lobster was good ribeye needed a little seasoning but I would trade the evening with my better half for anything.

amazing buffet! it was $135 per person which includes all food along with non alcoholic drinks and 10% tip for the whole staff.
it opens at 5pm but the doors started to open at 4:30pm for people to pay and get a buzzer.
their ground is next to a lake and has lots of chairs, fireplaces and activities (sand volleyball, cornhole... etc).
the food i would say is a solid 9/10! there were some dishes that were a tad bit salty but overall it was delicious. my favorites were the lobsters and the cocktail shrimps. they were very fresh! there were also a lot of dessert options and fruits.
our server was so nice and friendly, he made the whole experience very enjoyable!
