My daughters were apart of their gymnastics program and we had the worst experience ever. Now I must say that the people who actually work at this place are great, but if you ever have to deal with the owner Gary, now that's a different story. He is very unprofessional and more importantly they actually STEAL from their staff. I had a birthday party there last year and the host was wonderful so I left a tip for the workers that day. I later found out that Gary doesn't pay his employees their tips. I spoke with the host and she told me that they held one year worth of tips from her. I believed her because he refused to pay me out mine and when I asked about them, that's when things turned for the worse. Gary puts on a great smile and presents his self as a Godly man but don't let that fool you. Nothing about him is Godly.
Also, if you ever find yourself in a position we're times are financially tough..DO NOT BARTER YOUR SERVICE! I tried this with them and the moment I started questioning his policy and employer ethics about the tips Gary kicked my daughter off the team right before competition and told me my other daughter can't come back either. This was devastating for them. They wasn't kicked off because I didn't hold up to my end of the deal, it was all because Gary was wrong and he knows it! I was so great at the service I did offer they asked me to be a full time employee after things were caught u, which I agreed to do until I found out how they REALLY treat some of their staff. Sadly I'm not the first victim to this establishment. From my knowledge this has happened before. Then Gary threatened me not to make this post and at first I wasn't but then I decided No! If I don't say something someone else will fall victim to his mistreatment. Lastly, if you do still decide to go here for a birthday party DO NOT TIP THE STAFF ON A CREDIT CARD!! Also, If you have the ability to go to another local gymnastics facility, I would encourage you to do so.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jackie K.Lake Barrington, IL14023Jul 29, 2021
We're in love with KIAGA and the coaches. Our daughter has been there for years and she says it's her favorite activity. Coach Cynthia is the best and we're so lucky to be a part of this incredible organization.
I would recommend it to anyone - boys and girls - anytime!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sadaf B.IL, IL02May 20, 2023
I'd give a 5 but the only reason why I didn't is because the hour and a half window was too tight with little kids between 3-5 years of age. I felt like I was rushed to get out. You guys looked liked you overbooked it and we're somehow trying to accommodate more parties for business but not for great experience. There should be always 2 hour window min.

Nice! My son took classes at KIAGA for several months. Turns out he wasn't loving the class. No fault of KIAGA,. I cancelled at the start of December, just missing the cut off for being charged for the month. Policy was clear. I was tho very surprised to be charged in January. I emailed. They told be they had nothing on record. I went thru my email and couldn't find a confirmation. I replied and told them I only had my word and the lack of attendance and told them to do what they needed to do. They refunded me today. Well done, KIAGA! it was clear we were done as we have not attended. I appreciate the common sense approach instead of throwing policy at me. Thanks. When we are ready for another class, it will be with KIAGA!

Great coaches for kids, but the front office staff is HORRIBLE. Trying to schedule a makeup class for your child is next to impossible. The elder lady that is in the office does not know how to accurately calculate or figure out what classes are full or open. There are numerous parents including myself that have had issues with the front desk and scheduling. The coaches (other than the new younger girl who has no idea what is going on) here really do love the kids and have thus far been worth sticking it out a little longer.

I had my son's 5th birthday party here. I had a lot of kids coming and extra came last minute. The staff was so flexible and helped add a table. They set up the places and put out all the food. I was able to talk with my guests without feeling like I had to worry about anything. They kept 24 kids happy with no injuries(always a plus) They took care of everything! I would highly recommend!

I've tried to love this gym. Six different occasions in fact. The best teacher there is Coach John! The younger ones don't pay attention and want to chat with each other vs teach the class. If your child is older and is new to gymnastics, I wouldn't go here. I see so many kids just standing because they aren't being instructed to do with all the experienced kids are doing. Also, if you have a little one I would hold off on starting here unless they can sit still 100% of the time. The preschool and kindergarten instructors have NO patience for little ones if they don't sit still the entire time.

Love KIAGA! All 3 of my kids have taken classes here. Such a great facility! Love how clean it is. They have a lot of options for classes as well which is great for our busy schedule. The front staff is fantastic! My youngest is having some issues making it to classes for medical reasons and the front staff was so great to work with! They gave us so many options to make up classes or gave the option to attend open gym. Love that I didn't just loose the money on the classes. The coaches are also great! They are even patient with my little one who can have a mind of her own. Great structure yet still loving and caring. I highly recommend KIAGA for kids of all ages!

Great gym! The cleanest gym I have been to in the Midwest area and I have attended nearly every gym and state of the art equipment!

I cannot say enough about how happy I am with KIAGA and it's all because of the coaching staff. My 9 year old daughter has been taking classes twice a week for a year and she has had several different coaches (currently Yuri and Julian) but they have all been fantastic. They are hands on, not just telling the kids what to do but positioning their bodies, showing them, demonstrating, getting down to their level, cheering them on, always encouraging them to do a little bit more than they think they can. My daughter has progressed at an amazing pace because their belief in her has translated into her belief in herself. We now have a mat and a balance beam in our livingroom because she loves it so much. I even use her gymnastics success to motivate her in other areas... if you can do this is gymnastics, what else can you do?
