Snow hares are objectively the best hares.
And with that, the best leporids.

get you a friend that loves hearing infodumps
I had a few infodump moments with people who cared (off the Internet), I will forever treasure them.
I had a talk about dinosaur species theoretically being hard to tell with a museum worker. Due to how real species are hard to tell with hybridisation, ring species, genetic freaks and adolescents stages. Also how many specimens are only found once aswell, are they just freaks or a seperate species?
They were engrossed and invited me to listen to this dino talk. Sadly, I was on holiday and going home nextday.
The other time was at a zoo in Exmoor. The man was doing a talk on cheetahs, only I knew that male cheetahs form coalitions, making their female cheetahs pair strange. I also answered questions about big cats (mostly their black panther exhibit) at their second talk. He was really impressed and asked how I knew, I told him I was autistic and really interested in that stuff. He got a book for me, for free, from his office and tracked me down to give it to me (It usually costs £14 in the shop). It was about the exmoor beast.
I forever treasure these moments. They have no idea how much it meant to me to be appreciated, instead of seen as an annoyance. Not even my parents let me info dumped on them. Saying its annoying or too much. My Nan listens out of politeness though and my late Grandad used to talk about science with me.
