  • Conifer, evergreen dwarf shrub, forms a tight, compact plant with small leaves.  Slow growing, Swartley (1984) states that after 20 years in an Oregon nursery it was only 6 inches (15 cm) high and 10 inches (25 cm) wide.  Reportedly one of the smallest Canadian Hemlock selections.
  • Part shade.
  • Hardy to USDA Zone 4   Apparently a seedling but its origin is unknown.
