Recently I came across an interesting personal project from Andrew Kim for Microsoft. Kim decided Microsoft was majorly in need of a rebrand. He set aside 3 days to work on a fresh logo and identity for the corporate giant and apply it across Microsoft’s range.
Obviously as a Graphic Design Student I am obliged to worship Apple and all of its products but actually I think Kim’s done a pretty good job! The ‘slate’ logo works particularly well on the products and combats the issue of perspective that Kim identifies as the main problem with their latest logo.
