                  Behaviour
A very secretive bird, it is usually spotted only in their breeding season. Usually seen singly or in pairs soaring or perched on tree tops. Sometimes forms small flocks to roost or migrate in search of food. It's call is a single high-pitched screaming whistle. Juveniles mimic the larger Hawk Eagles, in their range, for protection against predation by larger raptors.
