In Hackfalls are some beautiful specimen of Podocarpus henkelii. They’re planted in a group of three on the top of the ridge.
On the left is 1987 082 # 2038. On the right is 1968 036 # 2037. On the far left you can see some leaves of the third one, the youngest, 1990 204 # 2039. What struck me was the big difference between the two trees. I can’t explain this difference.
I inspected the left one a bit closer.
The left one has female flowers
And male flowers as well
