How to fertilize Picea glauca
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Picea glauca after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

I’m sorry but I think this is the best purchase I’ve made 😅 I got this Alberta Spruce the other day and I added tiny little Christmas ornaments to her! #happyholidays #sprucetree #HappyPlants

My plant is turning brown and dropping needles. Too much Sun? More water?

#bluespruce Who has good soil mix?

My dwarf Alberta spruce is going brown!! 😭 Pax has been getting more and more brown over time and it is properly starting to worry me!! He doesn’t get direct sunlight and only does for about 1-2 hours a day. Also, he gets watered just as much as my other plants and they seem to doing just fine, the only difference is the direct/indirect/no sunlight!! Please, anyone have any advice?? x 😬

Looks about time for a new home Does anyone think it may be too early to move him? He’s running out of growing room.
-
Oh my, look at Tiny. Outgrowing his container quickly and if I’m not mistakened, thats a new head growing from the left, resulting in more pine needles! :))
-
Why is he turning pink? I’ve watered consistently and never move him, only rotate, so why would he be turning reddish pink? #LetsGrowTrees

I took this baby spruce from my front yard as a cheaper attempt at bonsai. I’ve had it for a few months but haven’t really seen it settle in. Is there something more I could do?
