Heroes’ Square is an open plaza where a 40 m high column of Archangel Gabriel holding St. Stephen’s Crown leaves visitors in awe. It’s one of the top emblematic and photographed sights of Budapest.

Square with key hungarian heroes. Spend a while marvelling the statues. Reach via Metro 1. Gateway to City Park which has castle, boating, circus, zoo and museums.

Even though today's young generation assimilated in Hungary, Hungarian people have Turan origin than I can easily describe as cousins of Turkish people. In square, you can see Turkish commanders.

If it is crowded, maybe you should come during the week in the morning. There are several places where you do not want to step with your skates, specially stairs, take care.
