Cape Canary (Serinus canicollis)
This is a male. Females have less gray on the nape. They are endemic to Southern Africa. Three subspecies are recognized. This is the southernmost nominate race characterized by the male having its forehead and most of its crown and cheek deep mustard yellow. Formerly lumped with Yellow-crowned Canary (Serinus flavivertex) of East Africa. Canon PowerShot SX50 HS
