Rebeca Landa serves as the lead commentator for a variety of sports including ESPN Deportes’ telecast of Monday Night Football.

Since joining the company in 2017, she quickly became a prominent voice on ESPN Deportes’ NFL coverage serving as studio host of NFL Live, reporting from site for multiple Super Bowls, and serving as reporter for marquee NFL matches.  In 2022, Landa became the first woman to call a nationally televised NFL game on Spanish-language television in the U.S.

Landa’s play-by-play duties at ESPN also include XFL and tennis. In 2023, she debuted as the lead play-by-play commentator for ESPN Deportes’ XFL. In tennis, she has provided commentary for major tournaments televised on ESPN Deportes and ESPN in Latin America including all four Grand Slams, Abierto Mexicano de Tenis and the WTA 1000 Guadalajara Open. She has also called select College Football games.

In addition, Landa has served as sideline reporter for ESPN Deportes and ESPN International across a variety of sports including NFL, tennis, college sports, NBA and the MLB Junior Cup. She regularly appears on ESPN Deportes studio shows including NFL Live.

Landa’s passion for football goes beyond the commentator’s booth, as she is the defensive player for the Mexican Women’s National Flag Football team. In 2022, she made history along with her team by clinching the gold medal in The World Games, becoming the first women’s flag football gold medalists in the event’s history.

In addition to her role at ESPN, Landa also contributes as reporter for the NFL’s Denver Broncos. She began her career in sports journalism in 2012 while in college, serving as analyst and play-by-play commentator for her college football game broadcasts. She has played roles with various NFL teams such as the Chargers and Panthers as well as the NBA.

Landa is a graduate of the University of Americas Puebla in Mexico and currently resides in Mexico City.
