Comments: This rare evergreen conifer tree is endangered in its native Morocco. Being from the humid Mediterranean zone, it is adaptable to Ohio summers but needs protection from drying winter winds and drought. In the wild it can grow to almost 100' tall but more likely to only reach 40-50' in cultivation. The stiff needles are a dull blue-green to olive. An unusual and unique tree for accent or screen plantings.
