15k-Mile 2008 Ferrari F430 Spider 6-Speed

This 2008 Ferrari F430 Spider was initially delivered to Algar Ferrari of Philadelphia in Rosemont, Pennsylvania prior to the selling dealer’s acquisition in 2022 and now has 15k miles. It is powered by a 4.3-liter DOHC V8 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and is finished in white over Sand leather upholstery. Equipment includes a black convertible soft top, 19″ Challenge alloy wheels, an electronically controlled limited-slip differential, carbon-ceramic brake rotors, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, Capristo exhaust headers, power-adjustable Daytona-style bucket seats, a CD stereo, navigation, a wind deflector, a Bose sound system, a gated shifter, aluminum pedals, and automatic climate control. Service in September 2021 consisted of changing the oil, flushing the coolant and brake fluid, adjusting the soft top mechanism, and replacing the battery, pollen filter, drive belt, right-inner taillight, brake hose, and spark plugs. This F430 Spider is now offered by the selling dealer with a window sticker, a TrueFrame Certificate of Integrity, the owner’s manual, service records, a car cover, a tool kit, an air compressor, a Carfax report, and a clean New York title.

The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in white and features a power-retractable black soft top, xenon headlights, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, a carbon-fiber rear grille insert, and quad exhaust tips exiting on either side of the rear diffuser. The right-inner taillight was replaced in 2021, at which time the mechanism for the soft top was adjusted. An accident was reported in an October 2008 entry of the Carfax report, which lists an inspection for prior damage in an October 2014 entry. A TrueFrame Certificate of Integrity is included in the sale along with a car cover.

Ball-polished 19″ Challenge wheels are mounted with 235/35 front and 285/35 rear Continental ExtremeContact tires showing 2013 and 2014 date codes. Braking is handled by yellow-finished brake calipers fitted over carbon-ceramic rotors. A brake hose was replaced and the brake fluid was flushed in September 2021.

The cockpit features power-adjustable Daytona-style bucket seats upholstered in Sand leather along with a color-coordinated center console and door panels. Black leather covers the dashboard, and additional appointments include aluminum pedals, automatic climate control, a CD stereo, navigation, a wind deflector, a Bose sound system, a gated shifter, and power windows and locks. Wear is visible on the buttons located on the center console. A replacement pollen filter was installed in September 2021.

The three-spoke steering wheel features a red engine-start button in addition to a manettino switch and fronts instrumentation consisting of a central tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline as well as a 220-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates just over 15k miles.

The mid-mounted 4.3-liter F136 V8 features Bosch Motronic engine management and a dry-sump lubrication system. Capristo exhaust headers have been fitted, and service in September 2021 included changing the oil, flushing the coolant, and replacing the battery, drive belt, and spark plugs.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.

The window sticker shows initial delivery to Algar Ferrari of Philadelphia in Rosemont, Pennsylvania, along with factory equipment, colors, options, and a total suggested price of $256,815.

A toolkit is included in the sale along with the owner’s manual, service records, a car cover, and an air compressor.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned October 2008 accident in addition to the October 2014 inspection, and shows history in Pennsylvania, Florida, California, and New York.
