This 1988 Mazda 323 GTX Turbo is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter inline four driving all four wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a locking center differential. It is one of approximately 1,240 examples produced for the US market between 1988 and 1989 to meet World Rally Championship homologation requirements, and it is finished in two-tone Lancaster Silver Metallic and Vogue Silver Metallic over black and gray cloth. Equipment includes a manual sunroof, 14″ alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, dual rear spoilers, air conditioning, front bucket seats, and an Alpine cassette player, amplifier, and CD changer. The spark plugs, plug wires, and fuel filter were reportedly replaced in March 2023. This 323 GTX Turbo shows 143k miles and is now offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, spare and removed parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in two-tone Lancaster Silver Metallic and Vogue Silver Metallic (MA) and features gray pinstripes and graphics above the body cladding. Additional exterior details include dual rear spoilers, a manual sunroof, splash guards, and pop-out rear quarter windows. The hatch struts need to be replaced. Seven-spoke 14″ alloy wheels are wrapped with 185/65 Sumitomo Ice Edge tires showing 2020 date codes. The GTX featured a wider track than the standard 323, and the car is equipped with power steering and four-wheel disc brakes. The seller states that the brake pads were replaced in March 2023. The removed center caps are included in the sale.

The cloth-trimmed front bucket seats and split folding rear bench feature gray gradient inserts, and interior equipment includes a MOMO steering wheel, a GReddy turbo timer, air conditioning, power windows, and an Alpine cassette stereo, amplifier, CD changer, and speakers. The sunroof shade is stained, the seating upholstery is faded and torn, the dashboard is cracked, and the factory 12-volt socket is inoperative. An aftermarket 12-volt socket was added to the right side of the center console above the passenger footwell.

Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, auxiliary gauges, and warning lights. The six-digit odometer shows 143k miles, approximately 32k of which were added under current ownership. The seller states that the low washer fluid indicator remains illuminated at all times.

The 1.6L DOHC 16-valve turbo inline-four was fitted with a larger-than-stock radiator under previous ownership. The spark plugs and wires, fuel filter, and air filter are said to have been replaced in March 2023. There is an engine oil leak.
