Mark Williams (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Gwinnett County Public Schools school board to represent District IV in Georgia. Williams lost in the Democratic primary on May 22, 2018.

Williams was previously a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 55 of the Georgia State Senate and a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 55 of the Georgia State Senate.[1]
