Configuring Ludi with Norton Internet Security

The following instructions are for Norton Personal Firewall, which is part of the Norton Internet Security 2007 Suite. If you are using an older version of Norton, then the images may appear different but the technics is quiet similar.

Step 1:

Click on the Start button, and then go to Programs
Select the application folder Norton Internet Security 2007 and locate and click on the program icon named Norton Internet Security 2007. The Norton Internet Security window will appear.

Step 2:

Make sure that the Norton Internet Security tab on the top right of the window is selected and that you choose the 'Settings' link. Locate and select the option named Personal Firewall. This will open a new information box to the right and you should select the button Configure

Step 3:

On the next screen, locate and click on the tab marked Programs, then at the bottom of that page click on the “Add” button.

Step 4:

A new window will open up allowing you to search for the program files. You will need to locate the install directory on your hard disk were you installed the game (the default is 'C:\Program Files\ludi'). Select the file Ludi.exe and click open.

Step 5:

A Window will appear asking if you want to give permission to this file. Make sure that you select Permit then click Ok.

Step 6:

If you already have the Ludi file in your firewall you can change their settings to Allow to prevent blocking.

Norton Internet Security should now be configured to work with Ludi and will be able to successfully connect to the game.
